Great service, good food decent prices

Steve! It's all about Steve at this location. Waiter extraordinare. We used to visit more often but it has been a year or so. Thankfully Steve was still there and he at least said he still remembered us as he brought us salsa and creamy jalapeno dip. He kept the drinks flowing as well, bringing refills way before we were ready. Good food and decent location, usually easy to get a spot. The Elvis Presley platter is a good bet.

Just like On the Border, Americanized Mexican food. I had a chicken and steak fajita, the steak is not a good cut. Very chewy. Overall, eehh

Stopped in here with the friend to have lunch and conversation and this is a great place to do just that. We chose to eat outside on the patio under some umbrellas and taking in the beautiful April outside weather. I ordered the crispy taco plate with rice and beans and my friend ordered the bean and cheese burrito which is huge [see the picture]. the staff there was super friendly and they seated us very quickly and took our order quick. It was a great experience and we were very very happy with the meal and the service. Excellent 👍 choice if you are in the area.

Chuy's has high quality ingredients and large portions! The kids meals are large portions as well. Their tortilla shells are made fresh at the restaurant in full view in the restaurant. Be sure to go before 7:00 PM to have access to the free chips and salsa bar. It has incredible queso plus salsa, refried beans, and ground beef. You won't be disappointed with your trip to this great restaurant!

So yumm. Steak Burrito has Hatch Green Chilis. Warm and spicey. The pico was fresh n spicey, too. I really super enjoyed the smashed blackberry drink with Jameson. We used the online reservations and were seated upon arrival.

Chuys is great for Mexican food. Usually there is no wait. Multiple sauces to chose from, everyone at the table will enjoy at least one.

Food and service were GREAT. We cameIn with two dogs and they were amazing about accommodating us. The service on the patio was Amazing. The food was quite good as well. My boyfriend is picky and loved his burrito. I eat anything and my meal was exquisite. I wouldn’t have left a review for this BUT...BIG PLUS. I left a clothing article that was very valuable to me. They kept it and are making sure it gets back to me. A+++ services from serving to way after my experience. I’ll be back next time I’m in Raleigh.

Decor is nice. Mixed drinks were good. Staff could be more inviting and helpful when people ask about the dishes. Heavy on the cilantro... was in everything we ordered.

Big, cheap drinks with daily happy hour specials and a great happy hour nacho bar. Bottomless chips that are warm and well-salted. Great spot for a budget happy hour in general. Meals themselves leave a bit to be desired but are generally inoffensive.

Tasty food and great drinks. On a nice night when there are events it makes for a great outdoor dining experience.

Wonderfully eclectic Tex-Mex diner with 4 frozen drink machines. The margaritas were unpretentiously good. The nachos served with jalapeno Ranch dip as well as salsa were thin but tasty. We couldn't help but marvel at the decor highlighted by all the dog pictures, we love dogs, as we waited for our entrees. We will be back!

People were kind, food was fresh and taste. I will go back again the pink Cadillac drink amazing grown-ups!

Chuy's never fails! You never find chips and salsa that perfect! Love the taco salads and creamy avocado dressing. And a big shout-out to Rihanna, she made us feel welcome sharing some stories with us and was still very efficient at her job.

A cool and nice place to hangout with friends and family. The food was nice and decent portions. I would have given 4.5 stars had it not for the bad reception and wait time. Though we visited as group on Feb 14th evening, the Waite time was still bad.

Let's start off by saying that the happy hour nacho bar is pretty terrific... But as a frequent patron, I love this restaurant. The location is excellent, right in the heart of midtown. And the food is always on point. And to top it off, the staff and management are so welcoming and friendly. Plus I love that they are a charitable establishment where each location chooses their main charity that they support, but they are also active in other ways in the community. That's important to me

The food is pretty good. Also, the service is really fast. We ordered and got the food within like 10 minutes if not less. Make sure you ask for their special sauces. They are really good and unique just to this restaurant.

This is a little more higher quality Tex-Mez chain restaurant food for when you are finally tired of the typical Mexican fare you find in the numerous mom and pop places around. I like those those places but they are all the same, and this is always a really nice change, and I do like the food. Great outdoor seating too when the weather is right.

They start you off with Nachos,the food was good and the the ambiance was relaxed. The customer service could do with some improving though. When we asked about things on the menu,is was as if were expected to know.

Best texmex in town!! Great service very efficient, food is amazing is always crowded yes but is totally worth it! This time we ordered take out and the food was ready just in time!

Their daily specials are worth a look, and they have a chips and salsa bar to help yourself to...once you order something in the bar.

I had an unfortunate experience with one of the hostesses mowing me down as I was trying to get to my table. The manager was quite apologetic. More importantly, the flautas were very good. The chips are thin, crispy, fresh and delicious. The salsa was way to salty and not a favorite of mine (and I love Mexican food). The refried beans were also very good. The menu is limited which is actually a refreshing change from a lot of local Mexican restaurant chains which try to offer too much. I would return and recommend.

First time have Chuy's was take-out last night, and it was fantastic. The chips and salsa and the white sauce were amazing. Love how thin the chips are and the salsa was so fresh and perfect. The white sauce was unexpectedly great. We got the queso and loved it... its not super basic plain white cheese. For our meals we had the Chika Chika Boom Boom and i was so happy i tried this place. It was a bit spicy, and my friend said spicier than she remembered... but lovely still. Came with rice and beans, so i had 2 meals after eating so many chips. LOL. The pick up system they have is also a plus.

We loved this place! They were super busy because of a festival going on and we still were seated quickly and served quickly. Everyone that served us was super friendly. The food was really good! The fried shrimp in my bf tacos made me jealous 😂 The drinks where good and so were the prices! I wish I could go back but we are traveling through. Don’t miss this place! If your ever near it it a two thumbs up!

The staff was super friendly & the food was GREAT!!!! Fresh tortilla chips every day handmade & the Creamy Jalapeno sauce/dip is original & the best. This is my 2nd time to a Chuy's & at the Raleigh location & both were all around great from start to finish.

KEEP ME AWAY FROM THE CHIPS OMG. solid happy hour deal with the chips bar. Also love their margs. They also have a cool seasonal rotation system going with menu and drinks items.

Everything is good! Salsa is hit and miss, some days good some days not so good. Queso is always on point. Cant go wrong with chicken burrito 👍 2.99 drinks are pricey.

The decorum in thus venue is pretty darn cool. It's colorful and exciting. No vegetarian dishes that I could recall but the refried beans and rice was pretty good. The only disappointing issue was the waiter reached over my plate after refilling my co-workers glass with water. I handed her his glass and politely asked, "Please do not reach over my plate?" And, yes - she did go across my face and plate to return the glass of water; so, I didn't finish my food. Then she asked if I would like a container "to go" for my food. Of course I declined. I had reason to believe that wait staff are supposed to stand between guests and reach straight.

Family had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was very busy but our waitress was very attentive. The salsa tasted incredibly fresh, as did the chips and tortillas. The fajitas for two fed my wife, myself and out two girls. We are from Texas and this is by far the best Tex-mex we have had outside of our home. It's one of those places were it seems the staff and cooks really take pride in the quality of their food and the experience the customer has.

I got the pork tacos. They were wonderful! I ate way too many chips, but they were so good too. I can't wait to head back for more!

I enjoyed it. Burritos were good portion size. Chips tasty. Not sure if they serve coffee. Interesting decor. Handicap accessible although parking might be challenging. Good atmosphere.

Have always had a great time here. Great outdoor seating. Fully handicap accessible. Great food, drinks and service. They get busy in the evenings, so try to get there early if you don't want a wait. The patio looks out over a lawn that sometimes has music events and shows. 🌮❤🌯

Call ahead seating not working properly. Did call a head online, said 10-20 min wait. Show up and we are told, yes we are on list but wait is 40-45 min! Which is exactly what everyone else showing up now is! But only took15min to seat once we started waiting. I’m confused! Food was great though!

I enjoyed my experience here. I would say “sufficient” would best describe this location. The food, atmosphere and service were all acceptable. The “nacho” bar is a great touch (although the chips were pretty stale). I had the vegetarian plate. It was definitely tasty. Server was attentive. I would visit this location again.

Food and service is consistently good at this North Hills location. We prefer sitting in the bar area. There are booths and bar stools. Most recent visit we had a very good young Server dude who took good care of us. Usually I have the rellenos, but this time I tried some enchiladas and was very happy with them. Husband is Burrito man and was kept happy also.Note: Weekday happy hour nacho bar in the car...can't beat it! But every day, their thin salty chips and fresh salsa are tasty. (and complimentary)

Love this place! Convenient to the Hyatt when I stay at North Hills. Wide selection of Tex-Mex. Like watching the tortillas being made. The burritos are Hardy and come in many varities. The fajitas were excellent.

Love Chuy's North Hills. The Deluxe Chicken Enchiladas sub w/ Hatch Green Chile and Charo Beans is my go to. If you like heat, then Chuy's will not disappoint.

Consistently great. Highly recommend getting the Shirley Goo. It's a secret special not on the menu but it is the best item hands down.

Mediocre. Americanized. Sauces for chips are really good but that was the best part. How do you mess up on chicken tacos?! Save your money and go to Chipotle.
